CRIMSON Sentinel has been selected by the PRISM consortium involving five European Ministries of Justice from France, Belgium, Romania, Netherlands, and UK to develop next-generation Command and Control system for the surveillance, protection, and defence of prison facilities.
The unprecedented collaborative platform it aims to develop on top of CRIMSON Sentinel will offer groundbreaking AI-powered monitoring and Intelligence management for both enhanced surveillance and organised crime threats prevention in prison facilities, while respecting the fundamental rights of inmates and prison staff.
The project will integrate and advance cutting-edge research results in counter-unmanned aircraft system, smart video surveillance, phone localisation, open-source intelligence and Digital Twins. These innovations will offer unparalleled means for the real-time detection of most common organised crime threats and coordinate efficiently a collaborative response in cooperation with police authorities and stakeholders.
This project will be funded by the European Commission.
