We invite you to discover CERBERE through the superb video recently published by the French Army.
Since 2017, CS GROUP has been developing the central CERBERE system for the Army, in partnership with Thales. This includes ExCon("Exercise Control"), which equips the Operational Center as well as field instructors and is based on Crimson/VGeo technology.
The CERBERE system is used at the urban combat training center (Cenzub), a European reference for preparing land forces. Located in Sissonne, it is affiliated with the 94th Infantry Regiment and trains around 15,000 soldiers each year, both French and international. CERBERE enables real-time combat monitoring through interactive maps, hundreds of cameras, and realistic special effects (smoke grenades, simulated gunfire, ambient noise). With its infantry units, AMX-30 tank platoon, and armored vehicles, the opposing force (Forad) also plays a key role in training rotating units. Cenzub is also an innovation laboratory, featuring reconnaissance drones, combat robots like the Probot equipped with a 12.7 mm machine gun, and even armed drones like the Avatar, capable of fire support and intelligence missions.
A similar infrastructure is currently being deployed at CENTAC in Mailly Le Camp.
